- Desperate violent youth wild total loser garage punk!!! -

SLOKS!!!! Rohe, primitive, verzweifelte, dreckige, laute Lo-Fi Rock !n! Roll Garage Punk Combo aus Turin/Italien. SLOKS wurde 2015 als dreiköpfige Gitarren-Schlagzeug-Gesang-Band gegründet. Mit Buddy Fuzz an der Gitarre und Claudy am Gesang veröffentlichten sie 2017 ihre erste 7"-Vinyl-Single auf SOB Records/Double Face Records/Resurrection Records. Im selben Jahr nahmen sie ihr erstes Album „Holy Motor“ auf, das 2018 für Voodoo Rhythm Records erschien. Ihre zweite LP „A knife in your hand“ wurde mit dem neuen Schlagzeuger Tony Machete aufgenommen und im September 2021 veröffentlicht, ebenfalls auf Voodoo Rhythm Records. Wir sind auf zwei Compilations vertreten, die erste für Mandiga Records „You Didn't Think We Could Take It! Vol 2 ist eine Hommage an Subsonics. Die zweite, „Bomb your Brain“ Vol 2 auf Pigmè Records.

2023 brachte ein paar Veränderungen: Claudy verließ die Band und Reverend „Red“ Valentine (Barsexuals, Los Mofongos) nahm ihren Platz am Gesang ein. Massimo Scocca (Lame, Two Bo!s Maniacs) stieß ebenfalls zur Band und fügte dem Line-up eine weitere Gitarre hinzu.

Im Februar 2024 nahmen sie 13 neue Tracks im Swampland Studio in Toulouse, Frankreich, auf, produziert und gemastert von Lo Spider (Blew-Up!, Destination Lonely, Dividers).

Uncompromising total loser garage punk and dirty rock!n!roll…more noise rock that trashy is hard to find.
